Trips and Tours is an Argentina Receptive Inbound Operator created in 2003. Trips and Tours offers services in Buenos Aires, Puerto Iguassu, Salta, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia, Bariloche, Calafate and San Martin de Los Andes in Argentina, plus destinations in Uruguay and Chile through a network of top quality local partners.

Trips and Tours owner, Mr. Daniel Oscar Licata, envisioned a combination of good quality customer service together with a modern distribution system for services; something which had been missing from the Argentinean market and in Latin America in general.

Daniel, who had previously worked for a commercial airline, in a car rental business, a hotel chain and GDS fields, started his company after leaving his position as Galaxy Travel Distribution Solutions Director of Sales for Latin America.  He brought with
him a vast experience in travel related technologies. Even more importantly, he understood very well the two essential sides of the business, the supplier and the buyer and the particular needs of each one of them. In particular, his concern is how to offer broad distribution without minimizing quality in the process.
Early in 2005, Daniel met with Mrs. Suzie Campbell and they combined to introduce Trips and Tours to new markets in the world, especially Australia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Today, after 6 years from its creation, Trips and Tours has introduced its own state-of- the-art reservations system to the market.

The system allows web access for small and medium size clients and an interface, through an XML link, for large clients.  In addition to hotels, the system offers transfers, tours, packages, insurance, rental cars, attractions and airline tickets, most of which have instant confirmation online.
